Candidates must be taken under the supervision of a fully patched member in order to become a Prospect. Potential members are at the bottom of the hierarchy and are expected to do the bidding of club members, and their sponsor. The probation period is meant to prove loyalty to the club, and respect for its members and legacy. The relationship between Sponsor and Prospect is meant to be mutually beneficial: the Sponsor imparts knowledge, and the Prospect provides service. Sponsors are often times tough on their Prospects in order to ingrain a sense of duty, and commitment. Sponsors and Prospects normally form a very tight bond, closer than with their other brothers, because of their process of induction into the club. When a Prospect is voted in as a full member the secretary gives them their colors and rockers.
